Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule: Shift work (up to 40 hours/week)

Wage: $20.00/hour

About the Role

SHIKI SUSHI LTD is currently seeking a skilled Cook with a passion for Japanese cuisine to join our kitchen team in downtown Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment dedicated to quality and authenticity.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and cook full meals or individual dishes, specializing in Japanese cuisine.

Supervise kitchen staff and helpers when necessary.

Maintain inventory, records of food, supplies, and kitchen equipment.

Keep the kitchen and work areas clean and organized.

What We’re Looking For

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a similar role.

Languages: English.

Specialty: Japanese cuisine.

Work Environment

Setting: On-site work required (no remote option).

Atmosphere: Fast-paced with high attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.+5-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
