WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Social Media Content Creation & Execution, including:
Assist in the creation of social media strategies to increase engagement, reach and impressions.
Assist in developing content calendars for social media (Instagram, Facebook, & TikTok)
Create engaging social content (graphics, short videos, reels, carousels). Assist with photo retouching, video editing to ensure every piece of content shines.
Identify and connect customers source high-quality UGC. Coordinate UGC permissions, and organize content for repurposing.
Schedule and publish posts across all platforms using scheduling tools
Community Engagement: Respond to, and engage with followers; join and contribute to relevant online communities and conversations around camping, road trips, and outdoor gear
Assist in writing and creating eblasts, SMS text and blog posts
Events: Support the event sponsorship programs
Partnerships: Assist in executing collaborative marketing initiatives with like-minded brands to expand reach and engage new audiences—this includes contests, co-branded content, and joint social media campaigns.
Branding: Conduct website audits to ensure consistent and accurate brand messaging, along with product listings, across the market.
PR Outreach: Seek and secure digital PR opportunities, including blog features, product reviews, influencer collaborations, and coverage in relevant online publications
Other: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks related to marketing projects.
WHAT YOU NEED
Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a post-secondary program in Marketing or Business.
Previous marketing experience is a asset
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and take initiative
Term: Summer 2026 | Flexible schedule (20–35 hours/week) with potential to continue into the school year.
