AltaGas - Production Accountant, Midstream Finance
Are you naturally curious, detail-oriented, and ready to grow your career in a fast-paced, team-first environment? We’re looking for a Production Accountant who thrives on solving problems, working with data, and collaborating with teams to make an impact.
You Will:
Handle full-cycle production accounting for assigned facilities
Track terminal receipts and dispositions, balance facilities, and manage customer/marketing splits
Investigate metering differences, shrinkage, and recoveries — your curiosity is key
Collaborate with field operations and asset teams to ensure accuracy and alignment
Support invoicing, contract reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
Use tools like TIPS (Quorum), Excel, and other accounting applications

You Have:
1–3 years of experience in production accounting or a related field
A curious, analytical mindset with a drive to investigate and resolve
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize under pressure with minimal supervision
Flexibility to work outside regular hours to meet deadlines — with time off in lieu
Excellent communication skills and comfort working with diverse stakeholders
A university degree in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline
Interest in or progress toward a CAPPA designation (a big plus!)
