Position Overview:
As a Compliance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all equipment complies with Australian, State (South Australian), Corporate, and Nyrstar standards. Your expertise will help us maintain our rigorous adherence to statutory and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Regularly conduct and manage audits, both individually and alongside compliance contractors, to ensure legislative adherence.
Foster continuous improvement in compliance measures from one period to the next.
Keep site equipment registers up-to-date with critical information and registration details.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with external site Boiler Inspector, SafeWorkSA, and the Office of the Technical Regulator (OTR).
Register new equipment with SafeWorkSA and maintain knowledge assets such as records, audits, and inspections in the DMS.

What You'll Bring:
Proven ability to influence teams and negotiate effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on accountability and diversity.
Results-oriented mindset with self-motivation and the ability to drive outcomes.
Knowledge of compliance-related processes and a proactive attitude towards safety and hazard identification.

Essential:
Engineering qualifications at Trade, Diploma or Degree level.
Significant experience in heavy industrial environment
Experience with computerised Maintenance Management systems (E.g SAP).
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft suite products, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
