Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and 3-5 years experienced Family Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, with the ability to handle cases involving divorce, child custody, adoption, and other family-related legal matters. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, legal drafting expertise, and the ability to conduct thorough research to support clients effectively.

Duties

Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, and support cases.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents such as petitions, motions, and agreements.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
Provide sound legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations under family law.
Maintain accurate records of all case-related documentation and communications.
Utilize tools such as Lexis-Nexis for legal research and case management.
Attend court hearings and represent clients during proceedings.
Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure comprehensive client service.
Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
Proven experience in family law with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
Proficient in legal drafting and writing skills.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
Strong research capabilities using various legal resources including Lexis-Nexis.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
