Job description
Job Title: Special Education Professional
About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work with students who require special education support. As a Special Education Professional, you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized educational programs (IEPs) that cater to the diverse needs of these students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with students having special education needs to develop and implement effective IEPs.
• Cater to pre-primary referrals and provide necessary support.
• Conduct classroom observations and informal assessments to identify areas of improvement.
• Develop and implement remedial goals and worksheets to achieve academic excellence.
• Evaluate IEP goals through exam papers and review sheets to ensure application of skills.
• Provide intervention for academic as well as need-based counseling for referred cases.
• Regularly follow up with teachers to monitor academic and behavioral progress of students.
• Recommend strategies for improvement and guide visiting professionals on a regular basis.
• Suggest exam provisions to parents as per individual student needs.
• Assist students availing resource intervention during secondary exam invigilation and primary reviews.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
