Job Title: Teacher Trainer & Curriculum Designer
About the Organization

The organization is a nonprofit that works with state-run schools to improve the quality of education and the well-being of students.
Role Requirements
• Facilitate in-person and online training sessions to build capacity among teachers/trainers. Collaborate with the team and government stakeholders to develop grade-specific, localized curriculum and teaching materials focused on social-emotional learning (SEL).
• Contextualize existing curriculum according to the socio-cultural context of the state. Create detailed training modules, including interactive lesson plans and activities for various training programs.
• Support documentation and structuring of existing programs within the organization. Work alongside the state operations team to ensure effective implementation of programs with government partners.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in education, social science, design education, or equivalent. Fluent proficiency in Gujarati (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory.
• Experience and interest in education research, curriculum design, and teacher training. Understanding or inclination to understand social-emotional learning, mental health, and psycho-social development psychology is preferred.
• Prior experience working with children and youth is desirable.
• Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and other tools.
• Basic design skills and familiarity with Google Slides, Canva, etc.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
