Crane Currency has an immediate position opening for a Production Assistant. Based out of Dalton, MA.

You will get the chance to expand on your current skillset by working in manufacturing processes fueled by technology pushing the next generation of currency around the world.
We're looking for a Beater Helper to perform the tasks necessary to maintain a steady supply of raw materials to the furnish and broke pulper conveyors in the beater room, the beginning of paper making operation. Once trained in this position, incumbent will receive additional training to perform other tasks within the manufacturing operation, as needed. This is an entry-level, rotating shift, position within our manufacturing line of progression.
Load correct stock onto conveyor belts.
Enter stock information into the information systems and on written logs/records
Clip bands/wires on baled broke or stock.
Cleaning the tanks/chests.
Prepare pulper for new batch of stock.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Industrial experience, helpful
Basic mathematical skills
Ability to learn basic computer programs; e mail, scanning, data entry
Ability to pass Power Truck Certification, and safely operate power trucks
Must be willing and able to work any shift arrangement and overtime as needed
