Delivery Helper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Delivery Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring that products are transported safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, capable of heavy lifting, and possess a strong work ethic. This position is essential for maintaining our high standards of customer service and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading goods from the delivery vehicle.
Ensure that all packages are secured properly during transit.
Help navigate routes and provide assistance in route driving as needed.
Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to facilitate the movement of goods.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure satisfaction.
Perform heavy lifting tasks as required for deliveries.
Follow all safety protocols while handling products and operating equipment.
Requirements

Previous experience as a Delivery Helper or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with box trucks and manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet.
Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively.
A valid driver's license is required; commercial driving experience is an advantage.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings if necessary.

Pay: $131.60 - $138.14 per day
