We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring that our food preparation and service areas are clean, organized, and efficient. Duties

Assist cooks and chefs with meal preparation by chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure a safe cooking environment.
Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and keeping track of food items.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under the supervision of culinary staff.
Participate in catering events by setting up and breaking down food stations as required.
Skills

Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
Familiarity with kitchen tools and equipment, including knives and cooking utensils.
Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Basic culinary skills with a willingness to learn more about meal preparation techniques.
Excellent communication skills to effectively assist team members.
