Tax Senior

As part of our continued growth, we have a potential opening for a part-time tax senior to work within our tax department, with a negotiable pro rata salary.

An exciting opportunity to work predominantly from home and contribute to the growth of our tax practice
Whilst ideally the candidate would be based in Essex, in view of the role being predominantly home-based, in exceptional circumstances, we would consider applications from further afield.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

A relevant tax qualification such as ATT or CTA
Demonstrable background of managing their own portfolio of personal tax clients
Experience in the preparation of self assessment tax returns, CGT returns, Let Property Campaign disclosures, tax investigations, and the provision of one-off consultancy advice
Experienced with property tax
Excellent communication and IT skills
Proficiency with TaxCalc and Microsoft Office
At least 10 years relevant experience
A full, clean, driving licence, and access to their own vehicle.
A suitable home office to work in.
Duties & Responsibilities

Assisting with the management of a portfolio of personal tax clients
Preparation of self assessment tax returns, CGT returns, Let Property Campaign disclosures, tax investigations, and the provision of one-off consultancy advice
Liaising with new clients as required
Identifying tax saving opportunities for clients.
Liaising and meeting with existing clients and dealing with queries.
