Senior Full Stack Engineer

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Brainvoy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our innovative platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining our applications' front-end and back-end components, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust functionality. You have a strong sense of responsibility and ownership. You love to own projects end-to-end with a bias towards solving problems and shipping impactful features into production that are well tested (unit & end-to-end). You'll report to the founders and closely collaborate with other team members.

Responsibilities

- Architect, design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications and services
- Drive Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Technology (POT) evaluations
- Lead engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications using a variety of languages and tools/technology stacks.
- Work across React frontend and NestJS backend to implement full stack features
- Collaborate with others to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Communicate and present solutions to stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices

Qualifications

- Passion for frontend user experience, with a keen eye for detail
- An Engineering Degree (BS/B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MS) in any stream - Computer Science preferred.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, excluding internships
- A strong understanding of CS Fundamentals, Data Structures, Algorithms and Problem Solving
- Strong knowledge of SDLC best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, CI/CD, testing, and operations
- Good debugging and problem-solving capability
- Influential communication skills; ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and their solutions
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in backend technologies from the Node.js ecosystem
- Proficiency in frontend technologies from the React.js ecosystem
- Proficiency in and strong preference for test-driven development
- Experience building connectors or integrations with 3rd-party tools and services
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL relational databases
- Proficiency in AWS cloud-native application development

Bonus:

- Experience with NestJS, Tailwind CSS
- Experience with N8N, Zapier, or other connector builder platforms
- Familiarity with large language models and experience working with Generative AI is a plus
