Company Profile

Mukand Limited, a Bajaj group company is a leading manufacturer of specialty steel long products and heavy machinery in India. Incorporated in the year 1937, the company has two divisions namely Steel and Industrial Machinery. The Steel division manufactures specialty steel long products in the form of wire rods, bars, wires and bright bars that feed into the automobile and engineering industries. The Industrial Machinery Division designs, manufactures, assembles and commissions heavy-duty cranes, bulk material handling equipment, process plant machinery and turnkey projects. Mukand produces Alloy Steel from its facility in Hospet, Karnataka and Stainless Steel from its facility in Thane, Maharashtra.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Finalization of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual standalone accounts as per IND AS
• Preparation of Cash Flow statements
• Preparation of Budgets/Estimates
• Interaction with other divisions for compilation of data
• Interaction with auditors for audit purposes
• Analysis/MIS of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Performance
• Develop and revise accounting policies and standards to meet changing needs
• Keep abreast of financial and legislative changes that impact business and provide inputs for leveraging technology for financial reporting and control in order to ensure compliance with Finance and Accounting standards .

Position Requirements
• Worked in Corporate accounts of a listed company.
• 15+ yrs. of post qualification experience in manufacturing industry.
• Working knowledge in SAP
• Knowledge of IND- AS standards
• IFRS knowledge
• Strong Communication & Presentation Skills
