Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for Articled Clerks at R Gopalakrishnan and Co, Chartered Accountants, located in Chennai. Articled Clerks will be responsible for assisting with audits, preparing financial statements, conducting tax research, and compiling reports. They will also be involved in various accounting tasks and will be expected to adhere to professional standards and guidelines. The role includes working closely with senior accountants and managers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications
• Practical knowledge in areas such as Audit, Taxation, and Financial Reporting
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and standards
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• IPCC Both Groups passed

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits, including Individual and corporate tax Filings.

Conduct fieldwork, testing, and documentation of audit evidence

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards

Coordinate with clients and internal teams to complete assignments efficiently
