The role & you

Located in the beautiful Gloucester Park the Olympic Swimming pool complex comprises of a 50 metre olympic pool (7 lanes), a solar heated toddlers pool and a 13 metre hydrotherapy pool which hosts various swimming programs.

Responsible for the day-to-day pool operations ensuring the facility is kept clean, maintained and provides a service to the community this role works closely with our Senior Pool Attendants to provide high levels of customer service, patron supervision, safety and education.

You will have:

Ability to work during school hours with flexibility to pick up other shifts will be highly regarded
Strong communication skills to develop constructive relationships both internally and externally
Royal Life Saving Society Australia, Pool Lifeguard Certificate or willingness to obtain.
Current First Aid – HLTAID011 Certificate or willingness to obtain.
Maintain annual competency in CPR – HLTAID009.
Possess a Working with Children Check Clearance or willingness to obtain.

Please note that to be a successful candidate for this role you’ll be required to complete a pre-employment medical check to ensure you can complete the essential requirements of the role.
Salary: Hourly rate of $27.32 plus superannuation (for casual engagements a casual loading of 25% also applies)

Junior rates apply dependent on age, ranging between $12.68 per hour and $18.62 per hour plus superannuation.
Location: Upon commencement your normal place of work will be Gloucester Olympic Swimming Complex located at Gloucester District Park, Boundary Street, Gloucester.

Tenure: Casual - Seasonal work.

Closing date: Sunday 27 July 2026 at 11.30 pm.
