Job Summary:
Linkletter Farms is seeking a Receiving Line Lead to oversee our receiving line operations. The Line Lead will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring adherence to safety and food safety protocols, maintaining equipment, and guaranteeing product quality through meticulous inspection and grading. This role requires a strong leader who can give clear instructions, work efficiently, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.


Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Adhere to all relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies while performing on-farm tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Prioritize health and safety by following established procedures, minimizing workplace risks, and complying with food safety protocols.
Lead a team on the receiving line during harvest, ensuring efficient operation and clear communication.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of receiving line equipment and assist with general equipment and facility maintenance.
Lead the movement and setup of receiving lines as needed for various locations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, and teamwork while working with minimal supervision.
Proficient in using hand tools and equipment
Must have the ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs in weight
Capability of standing, walking and kneeling for long periods of time.
Must have the ability to perform repetitive tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
Must have good attention to detail and work ethic
Drivers Licence
Operate a forklift
Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude

Job Location: Linkletter, Prince Edward Island


Benefits and Compensation Information:

Hours of work are dependent on production.
Must be able to work days, evenings and Saturdays.
Temporary position with possibility of extension
Range: $23 - 26 per hour
