Kitchen Helper/Cook

Job Summary
Looking for dynamic and energetic individual immediately to work in a busy take out food truck in hamilton. Someone who have experience in cooking Indian and Pakistani food would be an asset but will give training as well.

Duties

Cooking and meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Help with the setup and breakdown of food truck before and after service.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food handling practices meet health regulations.
Stock supplies and ingredients in designated areas to ensure efficient workflow.
Participate in inventory management by keeping track of food supplies and notifying management when stock is low.
Experience

Previous experience in Indian or Pakistani kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn about meal preparation techniques in a restaurant setting.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Work hours are from 12pm - 1:00am Tuesday to Sunday
