About the role:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for aesthetics, a good understanding of spatial planning, and the ability to translate client needs into functional and visually appealing spaces.

Key responsibilities:

- Assist senior designers with concept development, mood boards, and material selection
- Create 2D drawings, 3D renders, and layouts using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, and measurements
- Source furniture, fabrics, and decor based on the design brief and budget
- Prepare presentations, BOQs, and documentation
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors under supervision
- Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in interior design

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design or related field
- Proficiency in design tools: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office (Revit is a plus)
- Strong creative and visualization skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Willingness to learn and take initiative

Preferred Qualifications (bonus):

- Internship or freelance experience in residential, commercial, or retail design
- Knowledge of sustainable materials and practices
- Basic understanding of local building codes and regulations
