Mayflower International is a Canadian, privately-held, investment corporation located in Vancouver, British Columbia. We manage a company that wholesales construction equipment undercarriage parts.
We currently have a vacancy for a full time Sales Representative in Calgary area. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in the aftermarket sales of undercarriage parts for heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, bulldozers, loaders). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of undercarriage components, excellent customer relationship skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales within the construction, mining, or agriculture industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with equipment dealers, service centers, and fleet managers.- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.- Provide technical expertise on undercarriage parts (tracks, rollers, idlers, sprockets, etc.) to assist customers in selecting the right products.- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets through proactive outreach, negotiations, and closing deals.- Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, warehouse department, technical support, marketing) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer service.
Use the ERP system and the third-party warehouse system to process the orders.- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.- Attend industry trade shows, customer meetings, and product training sessions as required.Qualifications & Skills:- Experience: 1+ years in sales, preferably in heavy equipment parts, undercarriage components, or related aftermarket industries.- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with undercarriage systems and their wear patterns is a strong advantage.- Sales Skills: Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate, and close deals.- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.- Travel: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (up to 30-50%).- Education: High school diploma required; technical or business degree preferred.Why Join Us?- Competitive base salary + commission/bonus structure.
The wage for this position includes two parts: commission and base monthly salary.Commission=10% of Net profit (gross profit margin-expense).
