Senior Accountant - Logistic Industry

Managing the processing of vendor bills and ensuring timely payments. Handling employee bill processing and reimbursement requests efficiently.
• Recording and maintaining accurate entries for journals, purchases, cash, and bank transactions in the accounting system.
• Conducting regular reconciliations for debtors and creditors to ensure accurate financial records and resolve any discrepancies.
• Performing monthly bank reconciliations to verify and balance all accounts in the general ledger.
• Ensuring accurate GST reconciliation and adherence to compliance requirements.
• Managing and generating e-waybills as per GST guidelines for transportation of goods.
• Uploading e-invoices to the GST portal in compliance with tax regulations.
• Ensuring timely calculation, filing, and payment of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) in accordance with government regulations.
• Overseeing fleet accounts, ensuring accurate accounting and timely financial processing for transportation-related expenses.
• Leading and supervising the accounting team to ensure smooth operations and accurate financial reporting.

Key Skills:
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role with in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other tax-related processes.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and data management.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
