Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and a passion for building and construction. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, walls, and furniture using hand tools and power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, ensuring they are plumb and level.
Install drywall, siding, and other materials as needed for various projects.
Perform concrete forming tasks to create foundations or other structures.
Execute masonry work including bricklaying or stonework as required by project specifications.
Apply caulking to seal joints and openings to ensure durability and weather resistance.
Conduct construction painting tasks to finish surfaces according to design specifications.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions.
Knowledge of drywall installation techniques, siding applications, concrete forming methods, masonry practices, and construction painting processes.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the capability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$34.68 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
