Job Description: We are looking for a skilled labourer to support our construction projects from start to finish. As a vital member of our team, you will work alongside tradespeople and contractors to ensure the smooth execution of all tasks. From preparing construction sites to assisting with various building activities, your contributions will directly impact the success of our projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning, removing debris, and loading/unloading materials.
Operate hand and power tools under the guidance of experienced tradespeople.
Perform basic carpentry, masonry, and concrete work as required.
Support tradespeople with framing, roofing, service calls and other building tasks.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project objectives are met.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a skilled labourer in the construction industry. Five years minimum of on-site experience, preferably more. If you do not have experience within the construction industry, this position is not for you. This is not a general labourer position.
Proficiency in operating various hand and power tools.
Basic knowledge of construction techniques and materials.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions.
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, First Aid) are an asset.
