Cube Van Driver

GFL Environmental is looking for a Cube Van Driver to join our team in Cranbrook, British Columbia!

The Cube Van Driver performs a range of duties including but not limited to providing customers with high-quality service, daily truck inspections, completing daily routes, and other duties as assigned by their Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete assigned routes safely, efficiently, and professionally
Drive to customer locations to deliver, empty, and return bins or equipment as required
Conduct thorough daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams regarding route progress or issues
Ensure accurate completion of all required paperwork and driver logs
Follow company and industry protocols for loading, unloading, and dumping at waste or recycling facilities
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle
Represent GFL positively in all customer interactions
Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager

Requirements:

1–2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably operating a cube van or similar vehicle
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Clean driver’s abstract
Ability to meet safety-sensitive requirements under company and regulatory standards
Strong communication and customer service skills
Familiarity with Cranbrook and surrounding areas is an asset
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Physically fit and capable of lifting and maneuvering materials as needed
