Job Description
• Experience should have in PCB hand soldering, PTH, SMT components & micro controller.
• Capable of reading assembly drawings- schematic & BOM.
• Basic knowledge of Electronics components- PTH & SMT.
• Perform manual soldering of electronic components onto PCBs following established work instructions, assembly drawings and quality standards.
• Ensure the accurate placement, alignment and orientation of components prior to soldering.
• Use soldering irons, solder wire, flux and other hand tools to create high-quality solder joints with proper wetting and fillet formation.
• Inspect solder joints visually and/or using magnification equipment to verify proper solder flow, wetting and adherence to IPC standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot soldering defects, such as solder bridges, cold joints and insufficient solder and perform rework as necessary to correct defects.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the soldering workstation, tools and equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, including proper handling of soldering equipment and materials.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality targets.
• Document work performed, including any deviations from standard procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance soldering skills and knowledge of electronic assembly processes.

Candidate Profile:
• High school/ITI/Diploma or equivalent qualification required; vocational training or certification in soldering or electronics assembly preferred
• Experience required from 0.5 to 1 years.
• Proven experience in manual soldering of electronic components onto PCBs preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency in manual soldering techniques, including through-hole soldering, surface-mount soldering and de-soldering/rework.
• Familiarity with soldering equipment and hand tools including soldering irons, soldering stations, solder wire, flux and solder wick.
