Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
A part-time academic is required to teach HIST 2280.03/BAFD 2280/CANA 2280, African Nova Scotian History, Tuesdays and Thursdays 1605-1725, in the winter term of the 2026-2026 academic year (January to April 2026).

The part-time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching, grading and administration of the class. In addition, the part-time academic is to be available for two hours per week outside of class time for student consultation. The part-time academic reports to the Chair of the History Department.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position
Candidates must possess or be working toward a PhD in History or related field.

Salary Range/Pay Rate
As per CUPE Collective Agreement

All offers of employment as a part-time academic are conditional upon sufficient student enrollment in the course and approval by the University.
