Full job description
We're looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our events team in Queenstown. If you excel at building strong relationships, thrive on uncovering new opportunities, and are committed to delivering outstanding results, this is the role for you.

As our Business Development Executive - Events, you'll play a key role in growing business events revenue by identifying and securing new opportunities. You'll build, maintain, and nurture strong relationships with key accounts and associations, ensuring our partners are engaged and inspired. Supporting the planning and organisation of events and functions, you'll also champion RealNZ's brand and purpose, sharing our story while driving meaningful connections with clients.



What You'll Bring

At least 3 years experience in a Business Development or Account Management position.
A Tourism focus, with at least 1 year working in Tourism sales.
A proven sales mindset - always on the lookout for the next opportunity.
Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications and strong administrative abilities.
A calm and focused approach under pressure.
Full, clean driver's licence.
Flexibility to travel domestically.
