DevOps Software Engineer Staff

The cloud DevOps engineer will be responsible for deploying, supporting, development and optimization of cloud-based infrastructure. Candidate should possess a deep understanding of public cloud principles, practical application of the principles, cloud services and security, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with other cross functional teams.

What you’ll do:

Develop and implement the cloud infrastructure that supports Blackbaud’s hosted applications and services
Build automation leveraging CI/CD processes, automated testing, unit testing, code coverage and other software development best practices
Optimize the platform performance through analyzing server performance analysis and diagnostic logs
Implement cloud security measures and controls in alignment with industry standard best practice and compliance requirements
Regularly assess and remediate vulnerabilities and threats to the cloud infrastructure using automation
Partner with key stakeholders to establish technical direction and negotiate technical decision points to drive innovative and modern solutions
Maintain detailed documentation of data flow, infrastructure architecture and standard operating procedures
What you’ll do:

2 + years' experience in platform engineering with a focus on cloud solutions (Azure & AWS)
Strong understanding of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS models
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
Familiarity with cloud security principles and practices
Able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities; Available on a 24x7x365 basis when needed for production impacting incidents or key customer events.
Ability to meet standards of quality, security and operability.
