Job Position:

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Marketing & Outreach Assistant who is fluent in Cantonese and Traditional Chinese, to support business lead research and customer outreach in the Chinese-speaking community across Canada.

This in-person assignment at our Markham office will help us identify and connect with small businesses and service providers that may benefit from classified ad promotion through our media network.

You’ll work closely with our marketing lead and use a provided framework to locate potential customers, document contact information, and assist in initial outreach.

Key Responsibilities

Identify small businesses and individual service providers in the Chinese-speaking community using approved online channels
Organize relevant contact and business info into Google Sheets (using templates provided)
Assist with preparing and sending email introductions using templates
Support our marketing and sales team by documenting responses and inquiries
Help shape future outreach strategies based on findings
Qualifications:

Fluent in Chinese (spoken and written)
Familiar with Chinese-Canadian digital communities and platforms (e.g., forums, directories, community websites)
Comfortable using Google Sheets, Gmail, and basic digital tools
Clear communicator, good writing tone in Chinese
Previous experience in marketing, sales support, or lead research is a plus
