Position: Mechanical Design Engineer – Crane / Heavy Machinery

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong skills in structural design, drafting, and fabrication drawing for EOT cranes, hoists, and heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed 2D and 3D fabrication drawings of crane structures, components, and assemblies.
Perform mechanical design calculations, structural analysis, and load assessments.
Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and support production with clear documentation.
Work with production and service teams to ensure design feasibility and resolve technical issues.
Modify existing designs based on customer requirements or site feedback.
Maintain records and update drawing revisions regularly.
Participate in cost-saving and design improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 2 to 15 years in EOT crane / heavy fabrication design
Knowledge of material strength, mechanical fitments, and welding symbols
Software Skills:

AutoCAD – 2D drafting for fabrication
SolidWorks / Inventor – 3D modeling of assemblies
MS Office – For documentation and reporting
Technical Skills:

Crane Component Design (Girders, End Carriages, Hoist Trolley)
Structural Load & Stress Calculations
GD&T and Tolerance Analysis
Sheet Metal and Fabrication Knowledge
Machine Drawing Interpretation
BOM Preparation & Drawing Revision
Knowledge of Manufacturing Feasibility
Salary Range: ₹20,000 to ₹50,000 (Based on experience & skills)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
