We're Hiring: Experienced Fish and Chip Shop Fryer/Chef

Join our friendly team at a busy, traditional fish and chip shop. We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Fryer to take charge of the fryers and deliver perfectly cooked fish and chips every time.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook fish, chips, and other menu items to a high standard

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the frying and shop area

Monitor oil levels and quality

Ensure all food safety and health regulations are followed

Work efficiently during busy periods with a focus on quality and speed

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a fish and chip shop or takeaway (essential)

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings

Location: Melksham Hours: 5 evening shifts & 2 lunch shifts (Friday & Saturday)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £14.50-£16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 37 per week
