Utkarsh Classes & Edutech - Head - Operations - EdTech

Job Overview:

The Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing end-to-end operations across both offline and online business verticals as well all major departments such as Academics, Admin, Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance etc by owning the SOP/Policy making and implementation at Utkarsh Classes & Edutech Pvt. Ltd. This leadership role will focus on strategic planning, process efficiency, cross-functional collaboration, and driving operational excellence to support the organisation's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic & Operational Leadership

- Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business efficiency for both offline & online operations.

- Define and monitor KPIs & SLAs for various operational functions, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.

- Lead process automation & digitization initiatives to streamline workflows.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational goals with business objectives.

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Act as a bridge between sales, marketing, product, academic and all other relevant teams to ensure smooth execution of business strategies.

- Work with finance & HR teams for cost control, budgeting, and manpower planning.

3. Team Leadership & People Management

- Build and lead a high-performing operations team, ensuring alignment with company goals.

- Develop and mentor mid & senior-level managers, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

4. Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure regulatory compliance and operational risk management across centers and online platforms.

- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control and efficiency.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

- 8+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 3-4 years in a leadership role.

- Prior experience in the Coaching/EdTech/Education industry is preferred.

- Strong expertise in process optimization, project management, and business operations.

- Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and using analytics tools for performance tracking.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and drive strategic initiatives.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
