A well-established and reputable law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing team in Coventry.
With nearly a century of service to individuals and businesses across the West Midlands and Warwickshire, the firm operates from offices in Coventry, Kenilworth, and Wellesbourne. It provides tailored legal support across a wide range of practice areas, including:

The firm’s legal professionals are experts in their fields, committed to delivering clear, effective legal advice and practical solutions. They are known for a client-focused approach and a commitment to transparency and value. The firm holds the Law Society’s Lexcel accreditation, recognising excellence in legal practice management and client care.
This is a full-time position based at the Coventry office, with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week following the completion of a probationary period. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience in private client law.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drafting Wills, including trust-based Wills
• Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Advising on estate planning and Inheritance Tax (IHT)

• Handling probate and estate administration, including IHT400 submissions and complex estates
• Managing financial affairs for clients where the firm is appointed as Attorney or Deputy
• Preparing Court of Protection applications
Key Skills and Experience:
• 3 PQE in Private Client work – you can be either a qualified solicitor or a legal executive.
• Excellent interpersonal and client-handling skills
• Strong team-working abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work under pressure and manage a busy caseload
• Well-organised and self-motivated
• Track record of meeting billing targets
• Willingness to continue developing professionally
• Full secretarial support provided
Benefits:
• Competitive salary, depending on experience
• Continuous professional development opportunities
• Generous holiday entitlement, increasing with length of service (including Christmas/New Year closure)
• Company pension scheme
• Consideration for hybrid working
• Free on-site parking
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, forward-thinking legal practice with a strong presence in the local community and a focus on professional excellence.
