GPS Excavator Operator - IMMEDIATE START -Gold Coast

We are seeking a skilled and experienced GPS Excavator Operator to join our team for an immediate start on a key project in South East QLD.

The Role:

We are urgently seeking a proficient GPS Excavator Operator to contribute to our current civil project in Logan Reserve. You will be responsible for operating a GPS-enabled excavator for various earthworks tasks, including but not limited to, trenching, bulk excavation, final trim, and working alongside pipe crews. This is a hands-on role where your expertise in precision excavation using GPS technology will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate GPS-enabled excavators of various sizes (please specify sizes you are competent with in your application, e.g., up to 30T).
Perform bulk earthworks, trenching, final trim, and detailed excavation to design specifications using GPS.
Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on machinery.
Adhere strictly to all site safety procedures, policies, and quality standards.
Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers, and ground crews.
Interpret plans, drawings, and GPS data accurately.
Maintain clear communication with the team regarding progress and any issues.
Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as an Excavator Operator, with a strong emphasis on GPS and Final Trim experience.
Relevant Excavator RII ticket/VOC.
Valid White Card (Construction Induction).
A strong commitment to safety and a solid understanding of OHS procedures.
Ability to read and interpret plans and GPS data accurately.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Reliable transport to and from our Logan Reserve site.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
Flexibility for potential overtime as required by project demands.
