Position Summary

The RN Case Manager is responsible for utilization review and discharge planning of all acute clinical areas. Responsible for all insurance authorizations, clinical communication, and denial and appeals. Tracking and reporting of data for other departments.

Coordinates clinical care of assigned patient population during the acute phase of illness from a utilization perspective.
Identifies high risk patients and implements appropriate discharge plan

Education:

Graduate of Registered Nurse Program
Experience:

2 years acute care RN experience
License

Registered Nurse
Certifications:

BLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)
