Fashion Design Intern

Role:

We're seeking a passionate and creative Design & Production Intern to join our dynamic team! This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all stages of the design process, from initial concept to final product, while also developing valuable customer relations skills.

Responsibilities:

Design Stack
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in fabrics, techniques, and design inspiration.
• Translate research insights into original sketches and designs for new products.
• Experiment with and select appropriate fabrics, colours, patterns, and textures for each design, considering aesthetics and functionality.
• Create mood boards, storyboards, and sample presentations to effectively communicate design concepts.

Customer Relations:
• Present design concepts, including mood boards, colour palettes, and fabric samples, to buyers and clients.
• Style and showcase designs to walk-in customers, providing excellent customer service.
• Gather customer feedback and incorporate it into the design process.

Production:
• Assist in streamlining the production process from order placement to final delivery, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure design specifications are met.
• Learn about quality control and production management techniques.

Skills:
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign preferred).
• Strong sketching and design skills, with a portfolio showcasing your creativity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• A passion for fashion and a desire to learn.

Qualification:
• We encourage applications from passionate and creative individuals! Ideally, you'll be a student pursuing a diploma or bachelor's degree in design, fine arts, fashion design, or a related field.
• However, we also welcome applications from talented individuals with a strong portfolio and a demonstrated passion for fashion design, regardless of formal education.

Pay: From ₹5,000.00 per month
