The Community Mental Health Nurse will be a valued member of the Wangaratta Community Mental Health Team. The clinician will undertake a range of responsibilities in the community including the delivery of direct consumer care and the referral of the consumer to a range of psycho-social support services. Our community mental health service is well supported by a range of step up/ step down units. The focus of our care is contemporary focussing on client choice. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity:

Current Registration with AHPRA
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Capacity to articulate client needs and to advocate for the client during multidisciplinary team meetings
Genuine ability to participate as part of a Team, and to assist with the provision of care for all our clients to ensure continuity of care and a timely and effective approach to that care
