We’re looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our high-performing Finance team based in Alexandria. This is a broad, hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate reporting, maintaining a strong control environment, and supporting Carma as we continue to scale. You’ll work across multiple areas of finance from general ledger and tax to audit and systems bringing a commercial mindset and a sharp eye for detail.

What you'll be doing:

Deliver month-end processes, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations across key accounts
Maintain the general ledger and manage vehicle stock and fixed assets
Support external audits and help ensure we’re meeting ASX and AASB reporting standards
Assist in preparing financial reports including quarterly, half-year and full-year accounts
Work within and optimise ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central) to improve financial accuracy and reporting
Partner with teams across the business to share financial insights that support decision-making
Contribute to process improvements that help us scale efficiently and stay ahead of requirements
Support ad hoc projects and broader team initiatives as we continue to grow

Okay, let's talk about you:

CA or CPA qualified
At least 4 years’ commercial experience
Big 4 experience is essential
Experience in ASX-listed or complex commercial environments is a strong plus
Solid understanding of ERP systems (Business Central, SAP or similar)
Strong Excel skills and an eye for detail
A commercial, curious mindset- you’re always thinking about the bigger picture
Strong communicator who’s comfortable working across functions and priorities
Experience in an automotive or inventory-based business would be an advantage
Leadership or mentoring experience is great to have, but not required
