We are an Accounting firm with a new modern office in Silverwater with a team of Accountants and Admin staff who insist on a fun and ambient work environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

Preparation of business tax returns with a broad range of entities including companies, trusts and partnerships
Preparation of activity statements (BAS and IAS)
Preparation of individual tax returns
Preparation of financial statements
Liaising with clients and assisting them to meet their accounting and tax obligations
Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
Other ad hoc duties as required

Sounds great, what do I need to have in terms of skills and experience?

Minimum 4 years experience in the tax accountancy industry
Attention to Detail and Compliance, including a strong understanding of ATO standards and requirements
Experience in the use of Xero and MYOB
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills - verbal and written
Excellent time management, an ability to meet deadlines and determine priorities
Professional attitude and appearance
Willingness to grow your career and continue your development
