Experienced Motor Vehicle Technician/Mechanic

Job description
We are a busy car supermarket and have several positions available for :

Mechanics

Senior Mechanic / Diagnostic technician

PDI/ Service technician

We don't do any external work, all work is prepping cars for sale and any aftersales/warranty issues that arise.

We are looking for new staff in our busy workshop

The roles include:
• Carry out general servicing of vehicles, repairs and MOT checks (if qualified)
• Complete air conditioning services as and when required
• Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles
• Undertake road and ramp testing
• Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to its original condition
• Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed
• MOT cover/ MOT trained
• Be EV/Hybrid trained

You will have:
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Mechanical Inspector
• Have your MOT licence ( not essential)
• Be EV/Hybrid trained ( not essential)
• Full valid UK driving licence is essential, held for a minimum of 2 years
• You must own your own tools / basic kit
• Integrity
• Reliability
• Be a team player
• Responsible

The salary offered depends on your skills/hours worked and will be assessed again once you have settled into the role.
