We're on the lookout for a visionary Senior Fashion Designer with a profound understanding of traditional Indian craftsmanship and a passion for creating breathtaking ethnic wear.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Conceptualisation: Craft original, innovative designs for ethnic women's wear and traditional garments.
Trend Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in ethnic fashion, textiles, and embellishments.
Sketching & Draping: Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and guide other designers in the team to drape designs on mannequins and visualize garment concepts.
Fabric Selection: Select suitable fabrics, embellishments, and trims, considering factors such as drape, texture, and color.
Pattern Making & Sampling: Collaborate with pattern makers and sample makers to ensure accurate execution of designs.
Garment Construction: Oversee the construction of sample garments, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Collaboration: Work closely with and lead the design team to ensure seamless execution of designs.
Presentation: Present design concepts and mood boards to the creative team and management.
Quality Control: Ensure the quality and consistency of finished garments.
Qualifications/Skills Required:

2+ years of experience as a Fashion Designer specializing in ethnic women's wear, preferably in the luxury fashion industry.
Strong understanding of traditional Indian craftsmanship, textiles, and embellishments.
Expertise in sketching, draping, pattern making, and garment construction techniques.
Excellent knowledge of different fabrics, their properties, and suitability for various designs.
Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of ethnic wear designs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Note: Multiple rounds of interviews will be conducted. The first round will be online, while the second round requires your physical presence in Kolkata. Please ensure your availability for both rounds.
