Are you a confident Accountant looking for a dynamic role where you can make a real impact?

Our client, a highly respected Chartered Accountant and their experienced team are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their boutique practice in Nunawading.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a firm that prides itself on providing thorough business, accounting, bookkeeping, and taxation services to a diverse client base, including companies, trusts, partnerships, sole traders, and individuals. Our client values precision, proactive advice, and a commitment to exceptional client service, with a strong focus on compliance across all service areas, including Superannuation.

What you'll need to succeed

CPA/CA qualification
A broad knowledge of accounting and general financial management.
Demonstrable experience working with a chartered accounting firm with a solid understanding of compliance requirements.(BAS, Tax returns, Annual Reports, Single touch Payroll)
Knowledge of Superannuation regulations and compliance.
Experience with Xero accounting software is highly advantageous.
Exposure as an NDIS Plan Manager would be a significant advantage.
The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with the team.
A process and deadline-driven mindset with a keen eye for detail.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
And, of course, advanced numeracy skills.
This is a permnent role which can offer flexible hours (30 - 38 hours pw).
