Autoleague has an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Senior Accountant/Financial Controller who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Committed to customer satisfaction, we specialise in new and used vehicle sales, servicing, and parts across multiple franchises, catering to a diverse clientele.

The Role:

This critical role will play a pivotal part in the financial management and strategic decision-making process of our dealerships. The Financial Controller will be responsible for month end processing, overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing valuable insights to drive the dealership's growth and success.

Your key responsibilities include:

Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of Autoleague, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.

Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support day-to-day operations effectively.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the administration team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the dealership's goals.

You

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA qualification highly desirable).

Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Proficient in all facets of accounts function to trial balance/BAS returns

Strong business acumen, commercial awareness and reporting skills

Highly analytical and organised with very strong attention to detail

Outstanding written and oral communication skills

Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
