Job Summary:

We are seeking an Entry-Level QA/QC Technician to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will help ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The position involves performing inspections, checks, and verifications on the production floor (approximately 80% of the shift). This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced food production environment, perfect for detail-oriented individuals eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform pre-operational inspections and verify production readiness.
Conduct line checks for weight, size, temperature, and packaging accuracy.
Verify ingredient lot codes and packaging materials (labels, allergens, codes).
Ensure compliance with GMP and HACCP standards.
Perform environmental swabbing and monitor sanitation schedules.
Complete QA records accurately and on time.
Assist with internal audits, inspections, and non-conformance reporting.
Communicate promptly with production teams regarding any issues or deviations.
What We’re Looking For:

Diploma or coursework in Food Science, Food Safety, or related field (asset).
Previous experience in food manufacturing or QA/QC is an advantage but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
Basic math skills and computer literacy (Excel, Word).
Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; occasional lifting required.
