Business Contribution:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with at least 5 years of experience to join our finance team. This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of our financial systems and supporting strategic business decisions through accurate reporting and compliance.

You will be responsible for managing general ledger activities, preparing reconciliations, and handling statutory filings. Your contributions will directly impact on our financial accuracy, compliance with government regulations, and internal business performance insights.

What You Will Do

Manage and maintain General Ledger (GL) accounts including journal entries, month-end closing, and account analysis
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Ensure timely and accurate BAS, WHT, FBT and other statutory filings in compliance with Australian taxation and regulatory standards
Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met with high accuracy
Assist with forecast and budget
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and automation within the finance function
Maintain and update accounting policies in line with changes in legislation and business needs
