Staff Accountant

Full job description
Preco is now hiring for a Staff Accountant for their Account and Finance team in Somerset, WI.


The Staff Accountant plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and compliance. This position requires processing accounts and incoming payments strictly in accordance with financial policies and procedures. Responsibilities also include managing day-to-day financial transactions, such as verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data, and preparing bills, invoices, and bank deposits.

With our proprietary die cutting and laser-based manufacturing capabilities, Preco has also become one of the largest contract manufacturing service (CMS) providers in North America.



Key Responsibilities:

Accounts payable responsibilities including coding and entering invoices, assigning vendor numbers, and processing payments

Accounts receivable responsibilities including generating invoices, uploading invoices into customer portals, and processing daily check deposits

Back-up and support for other members of the accounting team

Communicate with employees, customers, and vendors on questions in-person, via phone, and email.

Prepare documents and backup for annual audit


Job Qualifications:

Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred

3+ years of experience with a combination of accounts payable and accounts receivable

Experience with PC's, Excel/Microsoft products, and ERP system preferred

Great customer service skills

Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stake holders
