Staff Software Engineer – Fullstack

The Deposits, Pricing and Governance team is at the centre of the innovation happening in Everyday Banking. We are working to revolutionise the customer experience when it comes to Savings, Term deposits and Safe custody products with an objective to delight our customers. This is achieved through continuous innovation & improvement of our solutions, products and tech modernization.

As a hands-on technology leader with full stack experience, you will be working in a team of highly capable engineers and also leading initiatives for from design to delivery. Being product aligned and customer obsessed, you’ll own what you build (full cycle engineering model) and will be working in the latest technologies and frameworks (.Net Core, Next.js, AWS, Micro Services, Containerization and Gen AI).

Have solid experience in the full software development lifecycle using Agile practices and DevSecOps
Have expertise designing and building Core and Web API’s, web applications and running independent PoC’s
Are confident in their solution design capabilities, stakeholder engagement and leading technical conversations in group forums & can lead and nurture our engineers to do the same.
Actively get involved in continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation, ready to apply and promote industry best patterns and practices

Experience converting business requirements into technical requirements & designs
Experience designing High Throughput/Low Latency systems
Caching Strategies
Observability & Monitoring :
Grafana
Prometheus
Logging and Monitoring Best Practices
Understanding of Critical User Journeys (CUJ)
Experience defining SLOs and SLIs
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Sound understanding of DevOps Practices
Feature flagging and continuous delivery
