Job Summary

June is the new venture from the group behind the established cocktail bar in Chinatown, The Keefer Bar.

June is a brand new restaurant located at the heart of the Cambie Village. . We are a brasserie inspired venue, creating dishes that are inspired from tradition with our own contemporary take.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with our restaurant's standards and ensuring that all food safety protocols are followed. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency of our kitchen operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Skills

Proficient in various cooking techniques and methods within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation.
Attention to detail in food presentation and quality control.
Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred but not required.
A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary skills.
Open to working evenings and late night

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
