We are looking for a part-time accountant or Experienced bookkeeper to join our locally-owned business and team of professionals. Our office is in Scottsdale, AZ at Hayden and McDowell Roads.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in all accounting functions and business systems for the Company’s multiple business units.

Report to the Accounting Manager.

Assist the President with other business activities.

Support independent audit and tax accountants as needed.

Maintain building and property records.


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILLS

7 to 10 years of work experience in a similar position with similar responsibilities including a proven track record of successfully applying GAAP is required.

BA/BS degree in Accounting is required. CPA is preferred.

Experience in working in the following disciplines: Building/Property Management, Human Resources, Payroll and Collections is desired.

Hands on, self-starting individual with the ability to work both individually and part of a team.

High degree of integrity including the ability to successfully deal with sensitive or confidential information.

Well-developed analytic and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.

All candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
