This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include oversight of the general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment. This person may assist in scheduling required staff for banquet functions.Other responsibilities include:Ability to run banquet functions from start to finishCoordinate with other departments (Culinary, Events, Stewarding, Sales, Outlets and Rooms) in regard to functionsSupervise and direct Event Services Servers and Convention Services AssociatesConduct pre and post inspections of event roomsPrepare requisitions, bills, maintenance reports, closing shift and payrollConduct pre-service meetings and check in conversations with associatesPrepare and plan, accordingly, resetting the event space accordinglyCoaching and counseling employees to reflect Hyatt service standards and proceduresProvide guidance to Event Services associates on the floorThe position is a key component in achieving high scores in overall event phase satisfactionSalary Range: $29 - $32 per hour.ABOUT HYATT REGENCYBeing part of our Hyatt Regency Vancouver family means always having space to be you.
