Kauri Senior Care Limited is seeking one telecommunication technician to join our busy for an immediate start.
Location of Work: Auckland
Number of Vacancies: 1
Type of employment: Permanent position, at least 30 hours per week
Days required: Monday to Friday
Pay: $30 - $35 per hour
Key Tasks:
Installing and connecting telecommunication/security monitoring equipment (hardware and software) to networks
Negotiating, testing and purchasing telecommunication/security monitoring hardware from suppliers in Asia
Inspecting and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and software
Diagnosing and fixing faults in system and equipment
Providing update for IT system and equipment
Providing technical assistance to staff
Performing other duties as directed by manager
Successful applicants will have:
At least 3-year relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree/diploma in telecommunication/communication engineering and
Proficiency in installing, troubleshooting and repairing various telecommunication systems and software
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
